Experience the variety of artisan cheeses that are sold by the cheese makers themselves alongside freshly baked home-style sour dough and wholegrain breads. To add to it all are gorgeous cut flowers and plants, local musicians, freshly brewed coffee, juices or a wheatgrass shot as well as a selection of savoury and sweet snacks and meals to complete an entertaining morning market experience.

The famous Spirit House, where Damien was head chef, is just down the road at Yandina. It’s famous for an amazing tropical garden, film-set ambience and award-winning Asian influenced food.

They also have an incredibly popular cooking school with classes running every day and Friday and Saturday nights.

The Eumundi markets are one of the most famous markets in Australia. With hundreds of stalls selling everything from fashion, photography and food you can spend hours browsing some of the most interesting arts and crafts in the country.

The famous markets take place every Wednesday and Saturday with a minor market held on Sunday.

Throughout January there is also a Thursday night market with great food, entertainment and a variety of stalls.

Just a short walk from Gridley house we offer mid-week market packages, with guests checking in Tuesday night to do the markets on Wednesday morning. Other guests arrive Wednesday morning and store their luggage with us, wander down to the markets and check-in that afternoon staying Wednesday night. See our booking page for details.
